About the Author: Bill Laboon has over fifteen years of professional software development experience, as an individual contributor, technical lead, and manager. He holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Master of Science in Information Technology, specializing in Software Design and Management, from Carnegie Mellon University. He is currently a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Pittsburgh.
